Big Blank theme is a blank responsive theme for WordPress, with semantic HTML5 code and a very minimal CSS styling. This is not a naked or barebone theme, but a clean starting boilerplate for a more complex theme development. It makes development of complex themes much easier. Most of the necessary styles that don't matter much are provided, such as comments, forms, and regular styling of common elements such as headings, image alignments, etc... However, the rest of the layout has a very minimal styling, so you could start developing your own theme.
When trying to embed comment section on a single post page the area will first show up when one test comment has been added ++ the no-comments paragraph are been shown even though the comments are set to 'on' .
I'm using the default content of single.php and comments.php to achieve this.
This is a theme issue as I switched back to tweenty tifteen and the comment form were shown ++ when de-activating the plugins nothing changes ?
Google webmasters tool give me this error on microdata
Error: Page contains property "contenturl" which is not part of the schema.
(in type http://schema.org/blogposting)
"contentUrl" should be replaced with "image" (http://schema.org/BlogPosting)
I want to start by thanking you for this theme, so far it's been great to work with and is very well documented.
What I would like to know is what you would suggest as the best way to add a mobile-only menu to the theme w/o a plugin. This is what I have working so far:
Added a new mobile menu to the functions.php and set up a corresponding menu in the dashboard
Added a new "bigblank_mobile_menu" function to template-tags.php
Added css to show the new mobile menu on devices less than 480px
Added css to hide the main navigation menu on devices less than 480px
What I'm not sure of is how to associate the mobile menu with the mobile menu that displays on devices up to 480px.
If there is a better or more efficient way than I've started, please point me in the right direction.
