Issue

Currently the only way to know how to build a correct release of Bforartists mean we activate Alembic, Open VDB, OpenSubdiv and Oben VDB. But some of these entries have double items to tick off in Cmake and some there is no mention as to how to build a lite version for quick UI prototyping or what is what. Meaning, every time we built, it will be a release build and take from 30 to 45 minutes per build test.

It would be good to suggest and show how to make different build settings to manually setup different build types for prototyping in a quicker way.

I tried to just clarify what BFA 1 has over Blender 2.8 and what 2.8 would give to Bforartists in general.

We have started building animal characters with the following requirements: cute, blue, looks like the logo, instructive, fun
Inspiration comes from charactes like: Krita's mascot

7. A snail that has little arms and stands (bigger eyes)
8. A Scorpion (personal favorite)

Next steps

I don't know how to make forum polls, but in the facebook page I can make polls, and we could get the public involved and interested. Let me know though, which ones we could vote on or if we need even more angles to attack the concept. Let's do this!

The Ubuntu Documentation needs some love:

• Add instructions for install CUDA toolkit and then setting the paths of the system
• and Optix instructions to intall it then add it to the paths of the Cmake
• Add instructions to use a GUI like Tortoise (RabbitVCS) like the windows version
• Add some instructions on how to install Cmake and then use it
• Add instructions to alternatively do a Cmake build
• Add more info about building from command line/Cmake GUI

Facebook images have been created with *.svg and *.png files and converted to *.jpg to upload to the facebook page. These files need to be backed up and uploaded for later use and as templates for future publicity material.
