I have been looking into how we can geocode data for the tweets and post where no explicit coordinates are available. In looking at geopandas http://geopy.readthedocs.io/en/1.11.0/ it seems like there would need to be a text source with the full address for the geocoding to be possible. I think the usual free geocoding services cannot geocode to the city/state.

Sara (or anyone) have you found any better information around this?

I am having trouble loading GeoJSON from an external file into the HTML document containing the Leaflet Javascript code. Does anyone have good code from Homework 6(?) or the midterm which they can share with me for this project so I can adapt it for the team's use? My own code from those assignments was a mess that stored all the JSON data in various ways inside my script, and that is a terrible idea for this larger project.

So not an actual project issue but.... I appear to have left my wireless mouse in the lab tonight. I won't be in Montgomery County again until Friday.
