amnesia's Issues

Needed to install libsasl2-dev.

I couldn't manage to install the gem until I googled around and found I needed to install libsasl2-dev.

Thought maybe this is worth adding to the homepage.

Cheers

Call to String#sum is causing weird results

Amnesia kept giving me output like this, which didn't feel right (note I have tweaked the views slightly, but hadn't changed the non-view code prior):

screen shot 2013-07-31 at 12 31 56 am

So I dove into the code and made this change

And now the results look more like this:

screen shot 2013-07-31 at 12 32 47 am

Which feels much more correct. String#sum doesn't seem to do anything helpful in this context, so I'm not sure why it was being included. Please let me know if I've overlooked something! Otherwise I'll be happy to make a pull request.

Dependency memcached-northscale doesn't work on MRI 1.9.3-p0.

Not sure why I'm filing the bug here, simply to sound it out, I guess.

Under 1.9.3 the memcached-northscale Gem doesn't work, (compile errors owing to missing symbols here…) therefore amnesia doesn't work.

What level of effort do you imagine is required to take a different memcached driver?

Update: Having taken a moment to look at the source. I imagine you can expect a fork/pull soon enough

release

would you mind pushing to rubygems?
