Wouldn't this need both the value and files properties? The value property holds the name of the files being uploaded. I'm not against a separate files object that is returned from the useForm hook that can be used to supplement the values object.

The problem with value and <input type="file" /> is that it contains a fake path to a file and it has no use at all. To properly process the file you need the FileList object which you get from files property.
Anyway I like your idea better, returning files from the hook is much better 👍
