simpledotfiles's Issues

Take .alias-location as input

User can add the location of .alias as an argument when they run .programs, so they are not bound by my defaults.

Automate .alias implementation

Add the content, or usage, of .alias to the .bashrc-file auotmaticly.

Done either in .programs or an alternative method (like with the installation of git and cloning of the project).

>&2

Figure out what >&2 is.

Add git clone

Add "git clone ..." after the bit about creating the directory "git" to further automate the process.
Add installation of git as well?

User can choose what to install

After if-test, ask if the user wants to install the program in question.
Need to have som spacing to make the question more noticeable.

Could be that this collides with the "programs stops to ask y/n question"-issue. One solution could be to create a quick install file, and a custom install file.
Or, if it is possible, add options to the "runDot" command?

If OS is Linux Mint, remove * when writing password

By default, Linux Mint now shows asterisks when writing passwords in the terminal. Thought I'd add a check if the current OS is Linux Mint, in which case the file /etc/sudoers.d/0pwfeedback will be deleted.

Add license

Add a license to the project.
Just have to read up on some of the alternatives.
