And a description: HAXCMS is a headless content management system who's functionality is powered by the web component standard. HAXCMS for Beaker, is a site from HAXCMS that's been posted to beaker, which then is aware of beaker being there and allows the owner to edit it in place. The idea with the app is you fork the site and then you get your own CMS / mini-blog. Theming the system allows it to effectively take on different types of sites (a simple outline player and medium style blog are the two that work currently).

Some of the cards overlay text on top of images. The idea is cool and sometimes I really like it, but it hurts readability and makes the listing hard to scan quickly.

This is especially the case on the p2p web sites:

But it's also somewhat true on the less busy items:

Is there a way we can have the imagery without losing some of the readability?

New to beaker and made a user page as my first step in the exploration. 🌟

When I choose to seed files for a site (say, for 7 days), am I only seeding while beaker browser is open? Or am I seeding anytime my computer is on? This isn't clear from the docs.

Currently the links on each card are just text-links of dat or http. I think they're a little too small. I'd rather have the whole card be the click region, or have a way to make large sections of the card be the link.

There are some cases where there's both dat and http links. I think we can find a way to handle the "http alternative," but in the interest of time I'd be fine just dropping the http link when two are there.

The site is a bit difficult to scan right now because it's not clear what each link is. The titles & descriptions are good but it should be clear what's a website, what's an app, what's a tool, etc.

I think there are two ways to solve this:

1. Put a tag on each card showing what categorization the card fits into.
2. Never show the "all" mode and open the site with one of the nav items highlighted.

I think both are good options but the second one is a little easier to implement.
