We are working on a new release procedure right now, and once complete and reviewed, we hope to release an official version 2.0.0 of bcoin.
The discussion starts here: bcoin-org/bcoin#905 and you can follow the links to the proposed Git Package Manager. We will very likely not release new versions on npm again.
We would really appreciate community feedback on this process!
As part of this release process, we may consider developing reproducible builds as suggested in this PR, probably using bpkg which is our own package bundler.
Note that you can use bpkg right now to build bcoin into a single executable program. Such a compiled binary will not be officially released by the bcoin team until we can be sure that it is secure, reproducible, and verifiable.
