This project is a web application run through the python flask framework. GrocerySmart is a tool for students which helps them plan their grocery shopping and track their weekly waste.

These instructions will get the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing.

Currently the only prerequisite for the project is the Python Flask library.

To install the dependencies for the project:

pip install -r requirements.txt

To run the program, first setup the Flask Application:

export FLASK_APP=flask_scan.py

Then run the flask application:

python -m flask run
