Install AbySS with conda about abyss HOT 4 CLOSED

When you see issues like this, usually the easiest solution it to install ABySS in a fresh conda environment. Sometimes already installed tools can impact the compatibility with the dependencies of various ABySS builds.
In a fresh environment, the most recent ABySS version should be installed - if not, you can specify the most recent version number in your install command (conda install -c bioconda -c conda-forge abyss=2.3.7).

Thank you for your reply. It helped me. AbySS installed correctly. But I can not install tigmint, arcs in the same conda environment with ABySS because I got the same error as above. Should I install arcs and tigmint in a new conda environment?

Ah ok, so if you want all of them in the same environment, the easiest thing to do would be to install them all together in a single command in that fresh environment so that it installs dependencies that work for all of them:

conda install -c bioconda -c conda-forge abyss arcs tigmint
