This project is built around the .gpx file format. GPX is most commonly used with apps such as strava, trailforks and all trails, storing data such as elevation, latitude and longitude. We were tasked with creating a parser using LibXML2 for the C11 standard to extract data out of .gpx data files, which would later be used in a web application format. This used Jquery, HTML and CSS for the frontend component and Express.js for the backend server.
