If Visual Studio is running the ssis-vs2019 package currently exits with error code 1626. For the user it would be helpful to receive a proper error message.

Instead of maintaining vscode-cake Chocolatey package here it should be moved to https://github.com/cake-build/cake-vscode repo once cake-vscode 1.0 is released.

Embed VSIX in vscode-gitlens package

gulp-cli package installs a global npm package. When using background service this will be installed global for the user under which the agent service runs and therefore won't be available for the user installing the tool.

After switching to background service, uninstalling the package also no longer will uninstall previous versions of the node module installed with a different user.

Embed VSIX in vscode-eslint package

dotnet4.6.2-deu package should have a dependency to the netfx-4.6.2 instead of the dotnet4.6.2 package

The bower package is the only one I have tested with, but I assume the problem exists with the others...

I ran into this problem on AppVeyor, using its pre-installed nodejs, where cinst bower is installing into C:\Users\appveyor\AppData\Roaming\npm\ for builds of branches, with C:\Users\appveyor\AppData\Roaming\npm in the registry HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Environment key PATH. But when I create a pull request, bower installs correctly however it has disappeared.
My guess is that AppVeyor is attempting some sort of security, likely due to their paying customers. I'm doing a test run now to find out what is in the registry, etc, for these pull requests. It will appear at https://ci.appveyor.com/project/coala/package-manager/builds/25148080 (it is blocked atm)

It is expected that choco installs are system wide, not user specific.

I see the chocolateyInstall.ps1 is doing npm install -g bower , so this isnt a 'bug' in the choco package, but the installer also isnt emitting an error or warning, and I am pretty sure we can fix that.

More analysis to come ...

azure-data-studio-sql-server-admin-pack package installs the azure data studio extension for the current user. When using background service this will no longer work, since it will be installed for the user for under which the background service is running.

Cake extension requires the C# extension and therefore should have a dependency on the vscode-csharp extension

The SSIS extension has the following requirements:

• Visual Studio core editor
• SQL Server Data Tools
• .NET Framework 4 targeting pack
• .NET Framework 4.5 targeting pack
• .NET Framework 4.6 targeting pack

This should be mentioned in the package description or added as a dependency if possible (eg. .NET Framework 4.6 targeting pack)

We should check if npm is installed and throw an appropriate error message if not letting the user know what he needs to do.

RawGit will stop its service. We should use an alternative for the icon of all packages
