@kdfrawg provided a static image for the ADN Wiki main page - for a bit of colour, to 'brighten' the page up.

(at)kdfrawg suggested some time ago that the ADN Wiki needs more images, more colour... He's provided a banner for the main page which is good to go there with a few tweaks - see #7 for more.

The above quite naturally leads on to creating images for, for instance, the weekly events. (at)pamdavis uploaded a #WorkChat icon recently so I'll use that in the test page.

There are 2 issues to fix. Quoting from the page:

1. There's date bug affecting #ThemeMonday in the table - on Sundays the week before an event, the event is rolled forward by a week.
2. When #BookClub falls on a Saturday (observed) the 'Nothing yet' test remains active.

First, it may be best to strip away anything unnecessary, e.g. the table structure and user-facing explanatory text. As a GitHub newcomer I'm imagining this will involve forking (or simply copying a version of) the file somehow. Is my ignorance showing yet?

I setup a table to simplify the calculation of applicable dates for #thememonday - a repeated event on the second Monday of every month. Here's a photo of the scrap of paper I prepared one lunchtime. It's currently meaningless to me.

I felt a bit left out during ADN's adnfuturehackathon - simply because I had no ideas and I'm not a developer/programmer. All I could come up with is a tip-of-the-day for display somewhere in the wiki's main page.

The banner currently displays centred about the page. It may be better to left-align it.

The object of this edit is to reduce the number of 'popular' pages displayed on the Main Page at the ADN Wiki, and to add short descriptions to the links of those pages actually popular.

This may follow on from a successfully fixed issue #2.
