Download

From https://github.com/bayashi/mclocks/releases

For Windows, you can get .exe installer mclocks.Setup.X.X.X.exe.

For Mac, you can get .dmg file mclocks-X.X.X.dmg (Perhaps, you need Security setting to install .dmg from github.)

For Linux, not yet.

config.json

You can set configuration file as config.json to configure clocks you prefer.

See the document about config.json for more details.

Window state file

If you want to reset your mclock where it's located in your screen, then please try to remove window-state.json in your App data directory. That file would be generated by mclock automatically to keep the location and the size of your mclocks.

How to close mclock

Windows

  • Right click, then select close
  • Alt + F4

Mac

  • Select Quit from Dock

mclocks's Issues

Feature request: make the program inform the user when the config file has an error

Thank you for your software.

My config file as as follows.

{
	"clocks": [
		{ "name": "Auckland", "timezone": "Pacific/Auckland"}
		{ "name": "Melbourne", "timezone": "Australia/Melbourne" }
	],
	[. . . snip . . .]
}

In that configuration there is a comma missing after { "name": "Auckland", "timezone": "Pacific/Auckland"}. Instead of telling me of the error, the program just reverted to its initial configuration. That left me baffled - until I discovered the missing comma. So, some sort of error message would be useful!

I am using mclocks 0.1.15 (downloaded from MajorGeeks.com), on Windows 10.

Don't hide other window

Not sure details yet though, the panel of mclocks is hiding other window even if it's being seen to not overraped.
So the panel size of mclocks should be correct as appearance.

New Option: Show second

Do this after #1

If this option is existed, setTimeout can be for each minutes without second info.

Feature request: on Windows, make the program immune to Super-D

I am using mclocks 0.1.15 (downloaded from MajorGeeks.com), on Windows 10. Ideally, the clock would be on the desktop layer - in the way that the Rainlender application can be, or, on Linux, the way Conky can be - such that pressing Super-D, i.e., showing the desktop, does not hide the clock.
