This project follows the different steps describe in Pac Go: a tutorial project to learn Go programming language.

How to run ?

Use the following command to run the PacMan game:

cargo run

You can use the arrow keys to move the player and the ESC key to quit the game.

the terminal flashes a lot

hello there @Baptiste-Pollien 👋 😋

i do not know if you are still maintaining this project 😮

i'm from ISAE-Supaero as well and @c.garion introduced me to this version of Pac-Man written in rust, which is kinda cool 💪

THE BUG:
when i run the game with cargo run, my terminal flashes between each frame i believe 🤔
it is quite a pain to look at the board...

this might simply be a clear in the code between each frame to redraw the board, not a big thing probably 😋
just to let you know 😉

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • tested in nushell version 0.67.0 and bash version 5.1.16(1)-release
  • here is an asciinema recording, which strangely does not flashes...
  • i'll try to record a "real" video later 👍
