Could you please update the same app for iOS9 and provide details of the url's that need adding to the exception list

I wish that the below finding could help you somehow:

In simulators for iPhone 5s and 6 I got the following strange screen ...

I have been able to resolve this by adding a launch image for 4'' as stated in this and that stackoverflow reported issues.

The app works fine in 4s. (I have not been able to run the sample in my device) I have tested this using Xcode 7.3, and iOS 8+.

You may see below how it appears after this fix in iPhone 5s simulator:

I compiled the app with default settings and local images did not show.
After adding "avocarrot-images.bundle/" in front of every image reference in the app, they were shown as expected.
Is there any global setting in info.plist or elsewhere that you (can) use or is missing in order to avoid this problem? If not, you have to add the path in front or probably update to image.xcassets.
