README Tournament Databse project

Follow the below given instructions to safely run the project.

  1. Make sure you have Python (2.x preferrably) and PostgreSQL installed and setup in your system.

  2. Or you can simply install virtual box and vagrant before cloning this repository https://github.com/udacity/fullstack-nanodegree-vm

  3. cd to the tournament directory. Run postgre SQL by typing "psql tournament".

  4. The SQL file will run which will execute all the SQL commands including creating tables and views.

  5. Then quit PSQL and type "python tournament_test.py" to check for the given test cases in the test file while running the functions defined in the tournament.py file.
