Dropbox has a very nice client-side JS lib that makes it easy to integrate. This could provide the continuous backup and multi-device portability that people generally expect from modern Web apps without requiring me to run my own servers. However, this might require some tricky work to deal with sync conflicts.

If a user loses their phone and has to restore from a backup, their data (prior things) should be restored and available.

Both local (iTunes) and iCloud backups should be tested; if either doesn't preserve this data then that'd be a problem.

If it turns out that iOS backups don't include Safari localStorage data, it might be worth testing the HTML5 IndexedDB API.

I'd like to use tab to enter the next thing, but it will select the next thing's checkbox instead. I have to press tab twice, which is kind of tedious, because typically you'd enter all your things first before checking any of them.

The ideal order of focus would be: 1st text field, 2nd text field, 3rd text field, 1st checkbox, 2nd checkbox, 3rd checkbox, 1st text field, ...
