I'm not much of a coder but I'm wanting to insert a line of code that calls a bash script that reads my available hard drive space and deletes files if it's 90% full. I would like to launch this script just before your addon sends the torrent file/link to rtorrent.

I would really appreciate it if you could advise me on the line and file I need to insert my code that will launch a bash script.

Apologies in advance for bringing this up as I suspect it is more a specific setup issue on my part and not a bug. I realise you are not 'tech support' but I have spent a long time troubleshooting myself and have tried requesting help on the IRC (with no response). I and am struggling to get this working so hoping you or someone else is able to provide assistance.

I am using:

• Ubuntu 16.04 LTS
• Python 2.7.12
• Apache/2.4.18 (Ubuntu)
• rtorrent 0.9.6
• libtorrent 0.13.6
• rutorrent 3.8

I have tried to update CPAN and OpenSSL to no avail. I have also tried installing the cloudflare plugin for rutorrent which doesn't seem to have alleviated the problem. Is there something obvious that I have missed?

Any help you are able to provide would be really appreciated.

After updating rutorrent to the latest SVN on two of my servers today I now have this error in rutorrent.

I'm using autodl-irssi on rutorrent and im noticing when a match is added i only get 2 peers. but if i manually update tracker on the torrent i get 100 peers and some seeders. is there a setting im missing. or a auto update tracker etc
ive tried adding a delay in the filter but same issue
any thoughts

I use self-signed SSL certificate instead of password for protection of rutorrent connection
While when I set up autodl-rutorrent, it asks offering rutorrent's gui-server port and password to function normally,

replace with getConf.php before update error goes away and autodl-rutorrent works again

When a new torrent passes the filters a notification is created to alert the user right ? how do i access that notification through the plugin?

The GUI scale in rutorrent for the autodl options is off. It's too large so I cannot see all of the options necessary, and I cannot resize the window. I have cleared my browsers cache and ran in private mode and the problem persists.

Everything was working fine after a fresh install of the plugin. I managed to get a test filter working. The undefined error went away - leaving me with this error.

Because I can't get it to connect to a IRC Server with a self signed SSL Certificate.

this is my filter for TvShows
TVShow/movie - *
maximum size - 1.6GB
smart episode - checked
match site - mytracker
seasons - "1-20"
episodes - "1-50"

i see in my tracker that there is releases that match this criteria and autodl-irssi dont catch them.
is there anything i missing maybe?

My account was updated from ruTorrent 3.7 to ruTorrent 3.8 today. Now the autodl-irssi Filters window doesn't show properly* unless I increase the window zoom in Chrome to 150%. Not sure if the cause is ruTorrent or autodl-irssi (which already was up to date).

This option is getting unchecked if you navigate away from the filter it is selected on. Only option to have it selected is to manage filter manually by editing the .cfg file.

I accidentally hit the "New" button in filters without noticing it. That created an empty filter and every torrent of my active trackers were downloaded. Luckily it didn't do much damage.
I propose to make newly created filters inactive so this problem doesn't occur by accident.

Hello - I'm having some issues with the Filters Tab - The second tab on a filter says undefined and there are a number of sections such as match releases that shows up as undefined. Any tips? I'm on 1.61

Strangely, GetPhpModules() is returning that the xml module is missing. It has never done this until a few days ago.

apache2 and autodl-irssi have been restarted multiple times.

php.ini contains extension=xml.so uncommented.

If I run the following:

nothing is echoed. It is only in the context of being run from ruTorrent. However nothing should have changed on my system to prevent this from working.

After the recent jquery upgrade upstream in https://github.com/Novik/ruTorrent, it seems to have broken the autodl-irssi plugin. Would we be able to get an ETA on a fix? The error being displayed is in the codeblock below, and seems to be due to the jquery 2.6 migration.

What the user sees: Error downloading files. Make sure autodl-irssi is started and configured properly (eg. password, port number): Error getting files listing: Error: Invalid port ()! Initialize port in conf.php

If ~/.autodl/autodl.cfg exists and is local, the port and password from conf.php is not used. But if autodl.cfg is empty the zero configuration process fails to recognize it did not get a port or password.

In getConf.php, after calling attemptZeroConfig( ), $config is not checked as null, giving both a null port and null password.

We use autodl2.cfg for just the port and and password settings. This allows the tracker and filter configurations to be portable. An empty autodl.cfg is created by running irssi/autodl the first time.

today I installed autodl-irssi and autodl-rutorrent. Autodl-irssi works fine! When I run irssi I don't have any issue and everything is fine, but problem appears in rutorrent with autodl-rutorrent. I do not have autodl icon and autodl tab. In plugins tab I have [ Name: autodl-irssi / Status: Loaded / Launch: Enabled ]. Moules I also have. Only one I not added extension=sockets.so extension=json.so extension=xml.so to /etc/php5/apache2/php.ini, becouse I dont know where to add it (before or after end of file)

Filter window goes bank when WOL tab is clicked.

So I just installed the new version of autodl-rutorrent onto an existing seedbox. I removed the old autodl-irssi plugin directory then grabbed the updated version's .zip file, unzipped, changed permissions/ownership of files to match what had been used before, and copied my saved conf.php file back from a backup I made of the old version's plugin directory. Started up rutorrent and this is the error I get:

and the autodl plugin does not load at all in rutorrent.

I revert all the changes and restore a saved copy of the old version of the plugin's directory I made before starting. Old version starts again, no errors.

On the latest rutorrent build, the autodl plugin tries to use a removed jquery function, consequently spamming the console with this message:

AutodlIrssiTab._getNewLines: Exception info: name = TypeError; message = Cannot read property 'msie' of undefined;

There is a temporary fix, you can load up the jquery-migrate file with this line in index.html:

Under the advanced tab I added a specific category to always download.
Once the filter on the category blocks ether other download that was working before that did not match the category added.

Any suggestions or ideas on how this can be worked around?

Also under the TV/Movies section if you attempt to filter to for example Movies from 2015-2016. Most TV shows do no include the year released thus you are missing current year shows since they have no year in the name.

In AutodlIrssi/SSlsocket.pm was failing with a misleading "connection timed out" being printed to the irssi console. I ran/put in all kinds of packet captures and firewall rules to determine the connection attempt never actually occurred. The issue was resolved by installing Net::SSLeay 1.69 instead of Centos 6.6 default yum repo version 1.35.

Version 1.35 did not have have any ssl_ctx related options. Would save someone a lot of grief to do a version check on this module.

Can the option "hour" be added to setting "max-downloads-per", in the Filters section, please? This value works in autodl-irssi, but the rutorrent plugin has no support so when I save a new config through the plugin it erases this option since it does not exist. The only way to use this option is to edit autodl.cfg directly.

When you go to IRC Servers -> server settings -> and enable SSL for a server, confirm with OK and then open the same settings again, SSL is being shown as disabled (the checkmark is missing).

But by using the Backup option you'll find that SSL is still enabled. It's just the checkmark that's missing in the UI.

When opening the Autodl-irssi IRC Servers window inside rutorrent. If you cycle through all the servers that contain checkboxes marked as true, meaning SSL and BNC are active, nothing is affected all settings remain the same. Once you select one server that does NOT have the checkmarks enabled, and you go back to another server that previously had checkboxes set to True, they are no longer set to true. If you keep cylcing through the servers eventually all will lose their checkmarks. In order to restore them other than manually uploading the proper config file, is to set 1 server with BNC and SSL enabled and then select the next and select it as well, you cannot go to a non ssl and bnc and then go to one you previously set otherwise settings will be lost again.

I don't have any experience with linux commands and I hope that someone can help me with this problem.
I have a dedicated seedbox and I want to install autodl-irssi community.
I opened a ticket and they answered that they don't offer support for that and I should do it by my self through SSH access. I searched for a tutorial and launched putty and started typing the commands from the tutorial. Those are the commands that I used:

The Announce Channels menu is full of good intentions. The problem is that it seems to confuse more people than actually make use of it. Most people get the IRC info they need from tracker sites themselves.

So, I'd like to simply remove it. But first, I'd like to see if anyone out there really cares about it or find it useful enough to keep.

autodl-irssi.css:

moving the css into a subdrectory made the relative path back to the main rutorrent app images invalid. Can't see that settings.gif is even needed or makes a difference but it throws errors in the apache logs every time the rutorrent gui is accessed.

The following error occurs when refreshing rutorrent after re-installing the plugin:

Prior to reinstalling I deleted the rutorrent/plugins/autodl-irssi directory. I then followed the instructions in the README for reinstalling.

Instead of always having to start from zero with a new filter, wouldn't it be great if one could just clone an existing filter and just edit it a bit? Would be faster and more comfortable than grabbing the autodl.cfg, editing it, and putting it back.

In the Filters window, next to "New" and "Remove", a new "Copy" button would copy the current filter, name it "Copy of [current filter name]", and maybe disable the copy by default.
