deploy to production
Deploy to AWS Elastic Beanstalk on single instance.
Ongoing project thoughts:
- Take advantage of rails 5 session storage. Should sessions store history?
- Possibly team based idea? Like appear.in - choose a room name, etc.
Improve UX
Improve the UX with responsiveness.
Things to add:
- Username UI.
- Send/clear buttons.
- Login buttons with ui?
- Serialize cookies for login.
Overall UX that needs to be improved:
Layout ideas:
Add usernames with UI
It would be cool to have a UI to choose your username before chat was initialized.
Check in DB if it's taken, then proceed to chat UI.
Add send button/clear
Should add a send button and clear button.
