After trying out the website, I found myself unable to get back to the main menu unless I scrolled all the way to the bottom. The back button does not take me back to the main menu.

In terms of UX, it's a bad idea to break the back button. I'd suggest looking into the pushState API so you can change the location bar's state when navigating around your app, making sure back button hits work correctly.
