I believe the hamburger is to display the 'ul' onClick for smaller device which isnt working and also the transition effect will be better suited to after being clicked than an over effect.

Smaller file size, better loading time and browsing experience (especially for mobile visitors). :)

It's not responsive but you can implement this similar to above example.

The project section title is currently:

'Here is some of my projects '

The verb there should be 'are'

Too much easy:)

Change the project section to lazy loading and different hovering effect but idea will be the same.
