Here are the milestones for making AHW 2019 happen!

• Initial telecon with SOC mid-September (latest)
• Website ready Sep 31 (also add workshop to respective lists, get Wiki ready a month before workshop)
• Application form ready before Christmas
• Application Open at AAS
• Application Deadline Mar 15
• First participant selection Mar 31 + funding ready
• Participant list ready mid-May
• AHW August/September

I just had an interesting conversation with someone who runs the astronomy part of a science museum. I think it might be fun to encourage outreach-themed hacks this year (this could be a focus for the community-themed hack day?).

Anyway, putting this here so we don't forget.

We need to add a list of teachers either to the detailed schedule or as a separate list. If I remember correctly it was one of the issues raised by Roberto in his original e-mail.

Think about this, questions need to be more detailed

Less weeding out questions, more questions geared towards selection based on criteria we think are important
