incorrect composer invocation about tutorial-laravel-4-real-time-chat HOT 3 CLOSED

I created a project with the order I usually specify, just yesterday, with no issues. If it ain't broke... :)

from tutorial-laravel-4-real-time-chat.

I get this when I try it.

$>composer create-project laravel/laravel ./ —prefer-dist

Looks broke to me. Mac OS X Mountain Lion.
