bootstrap-rst repo no longer exists

In the step:

git submodule update --init --recursive

This error message:

Cloning into '/path/to/attila-demo/pelican-plugins/bootstrap-rst'...
remote: Repository not found.
fatal: repository 'https://github.com/Alexqw/bootstrap-rst/' not found
fatal: clone of 'https://github.com/Alexqw/bootstrap-rst' into submodule path '/path/to/attila-demo/pelican-plugins/bootstrap-rst' failed
Failed to clone 'bootstrap-rst'. Retry scheduled

Indeed https://github.com/Alexqw/bootstrap-rst no longer exists

"To Build" python 3 support

To build

Clone the blog

git clone https://github.com/arulrajnet/attila-demo
cd attila-demo
git submodule update --init --recursive
git fetch --recurse-submodules
git pull --recurse-submodules

fabric commands

Commands do not work with Python 3

fab help
fab build
fab serve

Is there a way to build without using the fab commands? Thanks!

outdated, e.g. not working with python3

Hi

thanks for the nice template which I would love to use with Python3. Unfortunately, I get many errors in the fabfile.py related to Python2 vs Python3.

Building attila-demo with make devserver (with a newer Makefile generated by pelican-quickstart) generates the blog but the Menu is empty and the top-left "Home" button does not work.

Env:

  • Pelican 4.5
  • tried Python 3.7 and 3.8 with the same results.
  • Ubuntu 20.04
