Yes. The update notification was popping up all the time for no reasons, even if my app is already up to date. But then i realized i should probably match the Version number in Xcode to the appstore version number... Is that correct? Thanks

The notification pops up if the version of your App in the App Store is newer. So, if version 1.2.0 is in the App Store, and you're working on version 1.2.1, you should not see an alert.
