This issue only exists to signify that moderation tools should exist and I will have to do some research to see what's necessary.

I want it to be similar to Discord. So i'll have to investigate how they do it.

It should show the date above a single message or series of messages and the user and the timestamp to the left, similar to discord

Essentially if a user posts multiple messages in succession, they should all be grouped together until someone else post's a message. I should figure out how to group messages.

• Chatrooms should be able to add metadata(tags) about themselves that aid in search. Maybe a limit of 5 tags.
• Chatrooms should have optional descriptions.
• User should be able to view a chatroom without joining or being able to write in it.
• There should be a concept of private chatrooms. Chatrooms that you need an invite in order to join. These wouldn't show up in search.

Right now the chat server wouldn't be well suited for scaling beyond a single CPU. When a user logs in and is available to a chatroom they would only be visible to the one physical server. If a chatroom gets too large there might not be a way to have every person appropriately handled by a single server.
