binder's Issues

Problem: Binder is not consistently displaying characterization metadata

To reproduce:

Upload a DIP from Archivematica to Binder, then view the files by clicking on files in the file list, from the context browser view. This is also possible from an AIP view page.

Expected result: when original files are clicked on, it should display Characterization, Format and MediaInfo metadata. When a preservation derivative is clicked on, it should display Characterization and Format metadata (MediaInfo is not run on preservation derivatives.

Current behaviour: It's mixed. Sometimes it appears to work as expected and other times not. For an example in our test environment that is working as expected (for the original files) see: http://binder-atom.archivematica.org/drmc/aips/5d5ecd01-a15a-4365-9d50-fccba0b030ea

For an example that is not working as expected see: http://binder-atom.archivematica.org/drmc/aips/e689e1e3-740d-4176-857c-1cce6aca4625

Additional context: I did double check the METS file to make sure that the MediaInfo metadata exists and it does.

Problem: Cannot download AIP or files from Binder

To reproduce:

Send a package through Archivematica and send DIP to Binder. In Binder, access the AIP or a file and download the file.

Expected result:
User fills out form to indicate why they want the file, and then the file begins to download after they complete that form.

Current behaviour:
When attempting to access stored AIPs via Binder, either fully or partially, I receive this error:
"Could not download file!Request to Archivematica Storage Service failed: The requested URL returned error: 404 NOT FOUND. Please contact a system administrator."

Additional information:
This may be just something not configured adequately rather than a bug, but I tested in two separate environments.

Tested in:
Client 1.x qa
Artefactual-based 1.x qa
