pygcui's Issues

Packaging (setup.py & setup.cfg)

Although I don't know how well that will work, since Pygcurse doesn't have either one of those, and Pygame's doesn't work right.

Poor testing coverage

The sum of testing currently done is a little 'demo' blurb in __init__.py, which only has widgets currently under development.

Tests for each widget are required, as well as signals, events, and rendering.

Event loop and signals

PyGTK's events and signals make much more sense than Pygame's. Treat Pygame as an event source and work with the signals from the widgets.

Insufficient documentation

As of this writing there is no real documentation of this project. The README is a start, at least stating the intention, but usage is missing entirely.

Box widget doesn't respect homogenous=False, expand=False, or fill=False

According to the docs, homogenous=False should allow child widgets to have different amounts of space allocated to them. This should be according to how much space they need. Instead, each child is allocated a similar amount of space.

Just as well, expand=False, which informs the Box that the widget doesn't want any extra space, is ignored, as is fill=False, resulting in all the extra space being allocated to the child widget.
