A Kingdom Hearts UI plugin for FFXIV (Dalamud)
I'd like to suggest a feature that automatically toggles the MP bar visibility for jobs that do not utilize MP. Or perhaps settings that allow UI element toggles on/off per job.
Also wanted to say I very much enjoy this particular plugin, it's great work and thanks for everything you do... I've linked an image of my avatar in the UI :)

Not really an issue, thought I can host the alert sound effect from KH right here, just to celebrate the new update.
Set your loop time to 0.333 for best effect.
It's not a perfect loop, but I tried!
As the title says. It also ignored my old setting and just set it smack dab in the center of the portrait element. I just turned it off for now, but you might have an idea on how to fix it.
There's no way to hide the bars once they're up unless you disable the plugin, which makes making HUD layouts difficult. It would be nice if a / command could be implemented for easy hiding while also being applicable to macros when wanting to easily transition to other HUD layouts.
As of right now users can set up the bar so that the the bar finishes curving around the portrait at x health and it gains length for every y health until z hp where it stops growing. Is it possible to add an option where users set the maximum length of the bar in pixels and then have the entire bar fill evenly based on your hp% instead?
The current way makes it so that if you have classes at various levels, swap between tank and other roles often, or do synced content frequently, the bar's length and how much hp each part of the bar represents on different parts of the bar constantly shifts. Fixing it as a user needs a manual adjustment to all the health settings every time you go into a duty to get the bar to be consistent between duties and roles meanwhile if there was an hp% based setting instead of just hp value based this would be alleviated.
I have this problem where the Kingdom Hearts UI covers item tooltips and my inventory and I can't read the text. I don't know if it's possible to make it sit behind everything, but I would greatly appreciate it.
I was wondering if it would be possible to add transparency onto the bar akin to the Base FFXIV UI
While I understand that in KH all values are displayed strictly through the bars, because of FFXIV's emphasis on numerical values (especially with MP, GP, and CP), it'd be nice to have more control over the resource values' text, such as making them bigger or moving them around like you would any other part of the HUD.
I have a transparent layer below the HP bar that blocks me from clicking anything behind it. I can still mouse over buttons and see their names, but when i try to click them, I instead click on the invisible layer and nothing happens. If i have the UI element unlocked, for example, instead of clicking on the button, i can freely move the addon. Will attach a screenshot with supposed layer dimensions

Hey, i dont think this is really an issue, but is it possible to set portraits to different characters? (for example, my main on Adamantoise has his, but my alt on Balmung would have his own)
I really love this plugin but I was wondering if having a Scan-like HP bar for the targeted enemy was possible?

However, I'm not sure if it's only me but I encountered a bug where the portrait turns black when getting attacked during the danger state. It happens every time. I suspect the hurt and the danger portraits were somehow overlapping each other.
Besides, is it possible to toggle/customize the reddish on the portrait upon getting damaged?

i am attempting to get a low hp sound working (using a sound file from another user on the issues section) and i cant seem to get it to work even tho im putting the file location? i just dunno whats going on lol i made my account to try and ask about this
I am having an issue getting both my portrait and sound working. I placed the directory in the correct pathway and I am not seeing any results. The pathway I have is C:\Users\danie\Pictures\Ffxiv\image.png and nothing is happening when I hit the set button and save. Is there something I am missing? Please let me know because this is a cool mod! :D
I would like to be able to outright disable (maybe the easier option) or significantly reduce the HP bar shaking when i'm struck. I really is distracting and annoying. A toggle option and/or shake regulation bar would suffice
Hi, I want to know if it'll be possible to add our own images to the plugin. It'll behavior just like in the games when at neutral, getting hit and at critical HP.
Our status just changes to reflect those conditions. Is something like that possible?
Could you explain a bit more in-depth how each of the settings work/appear once set? Specifically the following settings:
Because not all my classes are the same level and occasionally one is thrown into an iLv synced duty, the lengths will always vary, and because there's no explanation in the plug-in itself as to how each is represented visually, it's a bit hard to gauge what I should put for each value.
It'd also be nice if there was a "Reset to Default" option in case there's any mess-ups.

The fact that the only way to keep track of cooldowns is to put out a separate skillbar for this is frustrating to me.
You cannot click through it.
An ability can occasionally be clicked with the mouse pointer.
(Or you will be forever annoyed by the gear if you make a macro with an ability icon)

I'm sure you're working hard. I love this plugin so much. Just wanted to let you know I look forward to being able to use it again!
So there are two things I think would elevate this (already really cool) UI element. Being able to resize (or potentially replace) the job icon would be great. As it stands, at normal size, the Job Icon looks terribly blurry and unfocused. Being able to resize that (or replace with your own) would be a huge blessing.
The 2nd thing, which I imagine is a much bigger ask, is allowing for custom portraits to be job (and character) specific. Such that the portrait set changes based on whether I'm a Paladin or a Scholar, for example. Additionally, having the icons be character specific would be a fantastic boon, but I have no idea how feasible that is, if possible period.

I think it would be great to be able to hide certain bars outside of combat as it would improve immersion in the game.
Since the mod is intended to replace the exp bar, you can add an icon if the player is in resting zone. Not that big of a deal, just an idea. Also you can make the rested exp and normal exp different colour (if it's not already, haven't tested this yet because not leveling atm).

Could it be possible to have separate portraits depending on the job we're on? Like, the plugin displaying a specific portrait when playing as BSM, but a different one for MCH and so on.
Hello, this is possibly the greatest UI mod I've ever used. Absolutely love it!
As the title says, I would like to be able to disable the portrait flashing red when damage is taken. I am using a custom portrait and the red doesn't fit very well.
First and foremost I would like to thank you for your efforts on this plugin. This is godsend for me as a fan of Kingdom Hearts' stylish UI. I can't live without this now!

Very simple suggestion really. The Simple Tweaks plugin managed to render your shield HP over the HP bar and it would be really neat if the same kind of feature could be added to this UI. Simply render a 2nd hp bar above the existing one, sharing the same settings as the HP bar itself.
Like stated before the Simple Tweaks plugin managed to do this over the vanilla hp bar, so perhaps they can share the code behind it to get that info!
Just wondering if you'd consider adding in a KH3-styled UI and making it a setting so you can choose between KH1/2 & KH3?
So yeah it's useful when playing healer because i have tunnel vision problems lmao
UI for this plugin completely disappears when in gamepad mode, which breaks my heart because I find the KH UI extremely accessible to my vision needs and I was excited to use it only to find it will not work with controller-- which I need because of my disabilities. Please consider making it compatible with gamepad/controller UI mode? Please?
If anyone gets this error, please post it here with your OS version. I have been seeing reports of it and I would like to isolate and fix it. I do not get this error. So please be descriptive on everything. Did it error when downloading the plugin, when launching the game? Anything helps.
If it helps, you can type /xllog in chat to open the Dalamud logger and you can find the error there.
