I can't get the dropdown menu to work in the topbar. I have added a wp menu but the dropdown-toggle <a> tag is not showing. I get this in the inspector:

If I do

$('.dropdown-toggle').css('display', 'block');

the menu is working perfectly. Same in several browsers. What am I doing wrong?

I just added the disqus comments to devel.kuilder.net/bootsrap and will also add it to www.kuilder.net. This works, shame about the nice form. but if you don''t use the comment_form() function most spam protection plugins won't work.

I have noticed that the theme does not use that many templates; no seperate template for a post but everything is in the main files. It would also be nice if the main templates already had build in loops for special article templates (archive/author/category) and/or individual header and footer and sidebar templates

This would make it very easy to use child themes and override individual parts of the them.

I also noticed that there is in-consequent use of h1/h2/h3 for individual posts.

I had collected some information on best practices earlier but I cannot seem to find it. I might be able to look deeper into it over the weekend and create something.

Hi there,

qTranslate ( http://www.qianqin.de/qtranslate/ ) is a famous wordpress plugin for creating multi language sites.
I tried to convert my Blog from K2 Theme to wordpress-bootstrap, but there seems to be a couple of issues
with qTranslate support:

On issue is this ( http://www.qianqin.de/qtranslate/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3#p13 ):

"qTranslate will make the_date, the_time, etc. to ignore the format because it uses strftime instead of date. So to prevent date formats being passed to strftime, qTranslate overwrites them. But you can still use custom dates. Simply use one of the following functions (using a strftime format)"

Because of this Date / Time is diplayed like this after installing the plugin: "Posted %A %B %e%q, %Y"

Would be great to b fixed in the next version of wordpress-bootstrap.

Having a look at this theme ... liking it so far.

I've got debug on and am getting the following on the Add New Page, Add New Post and also when adding items to a newly created Menu.

Notice: Undefined index: custom_meta_box_nonce in functions.php on line 267

Not sure if it impacts on anything or even where to begin fixing.

Really like the theme, great options and the sub-themes set it apart from all of the others. One issue I'm having, in Wordpress Admin I layout my text, and then insert an image, add a caption and align it to the right as seen here: http://o7.no/IhMBd8 but when viewed on the site, the css built frame on the caption (which is built in Wordpress) is lost, as is the align right so it looks like this http://fak3r.com/2012/03/29/howto-run-apache-solr-replication-with-multi-core-indexes/

Note that this works fine with other themes, I've disabled ALL of my plugins on my site and disabled the Bootswatch.com Themes to be sure that couldn't be it. Any idea what's going on here? Thanks again!

I'm looking around for where Bones creates the head, but I'm having a hell of a time for some reason. -.-

When WordPress Bootstrap is viewed below maximum width the Hero Unit padding is adjusted (from max-width padding:60px to padding:3em 0). Should this be so? It's not the case for Bootstrap core, and it leaves the text in the Hero Unit with zero horizontal padding.

An edit buton shows when hovering over an individual post, even if a visitor is not allowed to edit.

Better solution would be to implement the edit_post_link function

I would like to change the standard Bootstrap navbar menu behaviours. Instead of a toplevel link just triggering a dropdown menu when it has secondlevel menu item I would like it to also link to a page.

I have achieved this behaviour with WordPress using the Roots Theme but I can't get it using 320press WordPress Bootstrap.

Here's the css I used to make dropdowns appear on hover and retain clickable/working links on the parent menu item:

Neither of these bits of code seem to work for me in 320press WordPress Bootstrap. Could anyone advise why they may not be working or how to get this code working?

I've added the speech attribute to the search input field, so that I can use it with Google Chrome:

Now, when I click on the microphone icon and say my search term it get's appended to the placeholder word "Search". (Same happens when I click into the field and then click on the microphone icon.)

However, when I click into the field and enter a search term via keyboard it works. "Search" get's replaced by the actual search term.

I might be a total dumb dumb, but for the life of me I can't seem to find the css alter the navbar. The theme rocks and I am able to customize pretty much everything else the way I want to. I'm just totally stuck on the navbar. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!! (I want to change the div size, bg color, padding, etc).

The http://bootswatch.com/ site is a growing collection of attractive alternative stylings for Bootstrap. It'd be super-awesome if there were an easy way to apply a Bootswatch swatch to a Wordpress site with the wordpress-bootstrap theme.

I recently started working with Twitter Bootstrap and now I am looking at the different frameworks to use it in Wordpress. For a site I need to build an accordion menu. In Bootstrap I can do this using the collapse javascript. Is it possible to integrate this in Wordpress using the 320press Wordpress Bootstrap theme? I think somehow I need to integrate all the classes etc needed for the accordion in wp_nav_menu..... any ideas??

The next/previous (li.previous a:hover:before and li.next a:hover:before) are the wrong way around when used with next_post_link and previous_post _link

I noticed that user_level is used to check if user can edit post, is this correct method? Does this mean that aothers of smae level can edit eachothers post and not only the ones they wrote?

Installed the wo-recaptcha plugin, does not work in latest bootstrap but does in twentyeleven theme.

I noticed that when the plugin wp code prettify is used (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-code-prettify/) the 'labe' class for tags is removed, they loose their nice formatting.

Workaround/soloytion is to switch to another (or no) code prettifier

The comment form ask every user for a valid URL (including the http:// prefix) to send the comment, it doesn't matter if the wordpress option 'require_name_email' is uncheck, you can still send an anonymous comment but you have to fill this field first.

I downloaded the ZIP file from here, then uploaded to my WordPress host (the awesome ZippyKid.com ) - I then had a problem with ZippyKid's CDN, which their tech support tracked back to some incorrect default permissions on some of the theme files.

However, I don't know which files had bad permissions, and I don't know what the permissions should be. That makes this much less useful issue request, I know - sorry : /

Although I am quite new to the hardcore development of themes I am a bit concerned about the hardcoded calls for javascript and css's. This migh become an issue when plugins check if certain settins/scripts/css'es are used and/or add them.

Been trying to get this theme to resize my videos based on the width of my theme. Even tried a few plugins, but for some reason, the videos will not resize. They are set to a fixed with of 580 I can see in the functions.php file, but would like some guidance on if there is a way to make the video width more fluid.

The line I am referring to is:

It seems to me that the homepage layout (with its big banner and subtitle) is the obvious candidate for the default index.php layout, yet for some mysterious reason it's not. In order to get the banner to appear on the default posts page I had to hack the hero-unit section into that file which doesn't seem right. I'm not sure if this is intentional or not.

There is one comment, which is a pingback. It is counted but does not show. It shows in TentwyEleleven theme

In the event a child theme is being used, the parent theme directory Path will be returned, use get_stylesheet_directory() to get the child theme directory Path.

There might be more issues with it as I could not find a reference to style.css, only the minified versions.

Also, when the site is resized to mobile, and responsive kicks in, the comments look a bit odd?

When I shrink my browser down the menu becomes a drop-down which works great. But if I visit the site on a mobile browser both IPhone and Android the drop-down doesn't work, when I try to click it nothing happens. Any Ideas?
