Client Side Fuzzy Search

A simple client side fuzzy search.

Function takes two parameters, searchString (string) and searchTerm (string).

Will return true if:

  • searchTerm is found anywhere in searchString

Will rturn false if:

  • searchTerm is not found anywhere in searchString
  • searchTerm is null
  • searchTerm is undefined

Prerequisites

  • Node.js
  • npm i -g npm
  • TypeScript
  • Jest (ts-jest)

Setup

  • git clone https://github.com/JDomleo/Client-side-fuzzy-search.git
  • npm i

  • npm run test
