Docs update request: /airdrop-eligibility-distribution

Source: https://docs.arbitrum.foundation/airdrop-eligibility-distribution

Request: Hello thank you for this Airdrop but I think there is an error because indeed I made more than 250k of transaction, I am a regular user since 2022, you can activate with my address, it seems to me that all my transactions n weren't counted because friends did much less than me but got more, see this screen

My adress : 0x8c0DA62b2F992eC731cE92Fc30B1B5227D8C14a7

Thank you for understanding 🙏 💙

quicklook entry / markdown page header naming collision

E.g., #security-coucil is both the quicklook id of a glossary entry and the header tag for a section in the why governance page (link); if you create a <a data-quicklook-from='security-council'>Security Council</a> tag on that page, the poptip picks up the wrong content.

Maybe all quicklook entries should be prefaced with "QLID-" or something?

Quicklooks component appears upon initial page load, but not subsequent pages

Context:

The issue:

For some reason, the quicklooks component works on initial load, but not on pages that I click into after the initial load. Steps to repro:

  1. open gentle intro in a new tab (password = onestepproof)
  2. hover over Arbitrum rollup
  3. see quicklook definition
  4. nav to State of Decentralization from the sidebar within the same tab
  5. hover over Progressive decentralization
  6. Expected -> quicklook definition. Actual -> nada.

I thought that by moving the <Quicklooks /> invocation into the individual docs pages, we'd trigger the renderQuicklooks function whenever the page loads, but that appears to not be the case. I also noticed that if you add a console.log statement to the Quicklooks = () => body, it's triggered twice on initial page load. This might be related to whatever mechanism explains our issue.

Incorrect point totalling

Hey guys, just finished perusing the reward distribution, and (transactions as far back as July 2022 [though not the requisite 3 minimum to qualify for point doubling]). And according to the screener I've got 9 total points (though 2 from arbitrum nova so I supposed 7+ would be closer to the mark. That said, it only shows 1850 for coins expected, while your literature has it closer to the 7k mark.

I know you guys are stupid busy, so not expecting an answer soon, but I'd appreciate one when you can.

Thanks

Docs update request: /airdrop-eligibility-distribution (According to points subtractions)

Source: https://docs.arbitrum.foundation/airdrop-eligibility-distribution

In discord support said:
If a wallet had less than .005 ETH at the moment of the snapshot, one point is subtracted

but in docs we have one more condition:
If an airdrop recipient's wallet balance is less than .005 ETH, and if the wallet hasn't interacted with more than one smart contract, one point is subtracted.

If support was right we should remove second criteria from documentation.

Docs update request: /concepts/sybil-account

Source: https://docs.arbitrum.foundation/concepts/sybil-account

Request: (how can we help?)

I have been using Arbitrum since day one. On the 2nd of February my wallet was compromised and liquidated. I don't believe I should be further penalized for not being eligible for ARB airdrop. I lost well over 100K USD on Arbitrum. I think the best course of action would have been to create a forum where users' requests can be investigated on a case-by-case basis. I can prove that did happen because I have a filed police report number.

Docs update request: /airdrop-eligibility-distribution - rhino.fi bridge user eligibility

Source: https://docs.arbitrum.foundation/airdrop-eligibility-distribution

Request:

Dear Arbitrum Foundation,

I am reaching out on behalf of the rhino.fi DeFi project. rhino.fi launched both a cross-chain bridge and cross-chain swap to Arbitrum in 2022, with over 7000 unique bridge transactions made to-date.

We would like to check to make sure that users that have interacted with the rhino.fi smart contracts on Arbitrum One are counted correctly towards the ARB airdrop, and that the methodology does not incorrectly identify any address that has interacted with the rhino smart contracts as a sybil address.

If possible, can you please enable addresses that have interacted with the following two contracts can be eligible for the ARB criteria ‘Bridging to Arbitrum’ and make sure they are not accidentally counted towards sybil/farming (due to transactions originating from the same address)?

Rhino.fi bridge contract address:
https://arbiscan.io/address/0x10417734001162ea139e8b044dfe28dbb8b28ad0

Rhino.fi cross-chain swap contract:
https://arbiscan.io/address/0xca8e436347a46502e353cc36b58fe3bb9214d7fd

We would very much appreciate any assistance that you can give, including clarification as to whether addresses interacting with these addresses may have been blacklisted, since several of our long-term users already alerted us that they do not appear to be eligible.

Kind Regards,

Will
Co-founder rhino.fi
