game-programming-unity-csharp's Issues

Chapter 14

Hello. I have inputted the Player script in Chapter 14, and do not have any errors, but the character does not move. It does rotate correctly when the keys are pressed. I compared my script to the one here in GitHub, and did not see any errors. Then I commented out my script and copy and pasted the one here on GitHub. Again, no errors, but the player character still does not move. I have dragged all of the references into the correct spots. There are no console errors... The book indicates that the player should be moving by now. I can't figure out why the character is not moving. This is becoming a hard stop for me now. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Struggling at end of Chapter 28 - no targeting or firing

Hello, thanks for the great book so far. I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure out what I did wrong in Chapter 28 though. I have checked and rechecked my scripts and the connectivity to components in Unity. My towers never look at my enemies nor fire. I do not see any errors or anything. I will continue to compare side by side with your code here and close this if I find the solution. Thanks for any thoughts you can provide!
