Hello，
I'm modeling envi-met in grasshopper with the morph plugin, but in building the green roof and green ground, I'm using 2d plant modeling, but in running the inx file, it doesn't show the plant modeling.

I see in the rules that 2d plant modeling requires -z orientation, but I have my turned on orientation analysis and found that my 2d plant planar modeling orientation is fine. Is there anything else that could be wrong? In the normal envimet modeling in, the plants have thickness, but the ones built in grasshopper do not and do not show it.

Hello I followed the wiki to run a UTCI calc in Bio-met, but cannot fogure out how to visualize results in GH. The templates are no longer available with the link. https://github.com/AntonelloDN/Morpho/wiki/4.1-UTCI-Calculation-with-Biomet

I have the results for UTCI and PET in a biomet subfolder of the outputs folder, but when i try to access the .edt files using the morpho_output_comfort_folder component i get null results. I tried plugging filenames for both the output root folder and the biomet subfolder. What do I need to do differently to visualize results?

I am learning how to built up ENVI-MET model for the stimulation by following the your guideline. However, I the step of assigning material with Morpho library, it show the error " 1. Solution exception:The '¤' character, hexadecimal value 0xA4, cannot be included in a name. Line 798, position 17." I double check the field path, there is no such character occur. Is there any solution for that?

I'm Frank, stutend at the French Sorbonne University, working on construction methods for reduction heat impact on my thesis.

First I'd like to express my admiration for your work on the LadyBug and Morpho Plugins, it's amazing tools.

As you can see in the picture, I manage to represent the wind direction (arrows direction) and the wind speed (arrows size).

Do you know if it is possible to reprensent the wind speed with different colors ?

Do you know if it's possible to represent dynamically the wind direction with a short animation showing the air path ?

Regarding morpho modeling, firstly, how can one modify the facade window materials and roof greening materials on the building form? Secondly, in vegetation modeling, I have set up plant 2D, but I cannot see the vegetation in the space preview. How can these issues be resolved?

I would like to ask you some question about ENVI-MET and MORPHO .The soil surface established in Morpho cannot be transformed into the soil material in the ENVI-MET model but building is ok. You could check out my appendix file .I have no way to solve it, I hope you can help me.Thank you very much. In addition ,I'm using Rhino6 version and the latest Morpho battery string, but I downloaded Morpho before, so I just replaced the latest version of GHuser with nothing else, and I don't know how to uninstall and reinstall Morpho.

I'm confused about the simulation result. I want to simulate outdoor temperatures for a series of models generated by grasshopper in 16 July, but found that all the results had the highest temperature of the day occurring around 9am.

I have tried two methods, but neither solved the problem.

1. Creat .inx files by morpho, selecting simple forcing in ENVI-guide, and using weather data in .FOX
2. Creat .inx and .simx files by morpho, using weather data in .EPW

The relevant models and files are attached below, and I am very looking forward to getting your help! Thanks a lot!

I've been having an issue when adding terrain within morpho: the model is not translated correctly into the Envi-met database as some of the building starting heights shift.

I posted the topic here with a more detailed explanation:

I'm not sure what the issue could be, but it is important that I include the terrain in this case.

I am reaching out to seek your assistance with a challenge I have encountered while using the Morpho plugin. Specifically, I am having difficulty creating windows on the building facades. It seems that the 'Morpho Building Material' component only allows modifications to the entire building. I noticed that previous tutorials for opening windows utilized the older DF ENVI-met version.

Could you kindly advise if I might be missing a step in the current version of Morpho, or if it would be more appropriate to revert to the older version to modify the building?

I managed to see the buildings with MORPHO-EnviMetDisplay but I can't find a way to display the 3D plants.

Do you know if that's possible ?

I was trying to use morpho plugin to extract a visualize the results of a ENVI-met LITE 4.4.6 simulation, following the tutorial on the slice grid reader on the wikipage of the github page for morpho, and I got the following error with the output_folder component:
Runtime error (Win32Exception): WindowsError Traceback: line 50, in script,
which I did not get from the example files that work properly.

I think it happens because there are differences in my ENVI-met output folder and subfolder from the example: my subfolder inside “buildings” is “static” instead of “dynamic” and my subfolder list includes “log”, “receptors” and inflow and no “solaraccess” folders. I suppose it is because I am using ENVImet LITE 4.4.6., is it?

Just to understand the issue, I tweaked my folder (changed the name of “static” folder, deleted/added folders to look as the examples - I did not dare change the python code inside the component - and it works, but for slice grid reading only. As getting only the slicing grid result would be ok for me right now, is there another component to be used to solve the issue, or a way to modify the python code to deal also with the results when buildings are “static”?

I downloaded the install.lib file, run it and manueally copied all the ghuser files. When i put a morpho component in the canvas i get this message:

MorphoGeometry.dll and all the other .dll files have been previously copied in the library folder

the update to Morpho 1.0.3 failed on one of my PCs.
Upon execution of the install_lib.gh, I get the following error:

Hi Antonello, I am on my second week of trying to run a simple model with morpho and still have had no success. I first started with my own very simple model and after following the wiki, online sources and referencing the templates, am still unable to get results. It's not been possible to troubleshoot because I do not know exactly what many of the components are doing. Here are the latest issues that occur both with my simple model and with the rabbit template:

morpho_run_inx - When i try to run it, my InDesign opens up - i can get with IT to see what is happening here but need to know what the component is supposed to be doing. The note on the template says "open ENVImet spaces".

morpho_run_simlulation - When I run it it starts off but no results populate folders. The terminal says things are OK but then the last comment is "exception ERangeError in module envicore_console.exe at 000000000001903D. Range check error.

Is there something simple I am missing and if so, where can I find documentation to help me out.

I'm having a problem with adding environment soils. I followed the step in 1.1.3 but when I check the model in envimet I can't find the soil I set, the material shows all 00. What might be wrong and how can I solve it?

I would like to ask you some question about ENVI-MEt and MORPHO.
In the rhino modeling file, only the x, y axes appear and the z axis does not appear.
I'd like to know how to solve it. The version is using rhino6. thanks.
