Since May(?) 2022 there is no way to get the required connection to: 'Googlemail' - because their 'security standards'(two factor authentification).
I use my 'KDE-Plasma' longer than some 'Plasmoids' exists - and it feels just wrong to see here so much potential: but no sings of life.

Maybe (Y)our 'gmailfeed' is not longer available (in the repos) for new users and I have just ignored the warnings from 'Google' way to hard😆
But anyways I hope some things(?) stays good and forever....

Wouldn't it be possible to use 'gmailfeed' with a second provider/email-adress(just for notification)?
However, I will find a way - but I am not gifted like you. Your solution would fit for masses🙂

But I will learn and give something be a part of 'FOSS' .

Maybe an option to change the url to open to http://inbox.google.com

I first want to let you know that I love this widget! This might be a big thing, but I just wanted to ask if you had any plans for a multi-account support.

Have you lost interest in this project? I've packaged gmailfeed for Debian and would love to see more translations and a couple of annoyances fixed (already a couple of pull requests). Because I'm not interested in hostile fork I'm thinking of something along the following plan:

1. Fork, and merge outstanding PRs.
2. Keep your project as the official upstream of the Debian package.
3. Carry one patch per commit, cherry picked from my fork in that package.
4. Whenever you merge everything I can just drop the patches.

If the patch delta gets too large after a year and it looks like less work to just maintain it as a new upstream...well, that's a long way in the future.

would it be possible to add other mail services beside gmail? perhaps this can be configured in sources?

I really love your plasmoid, and some months ago it was stopping working (error "Host requires authentication" but I cannot re-configure it in any way).

I'm very glad to see an update (v1.2) and now the error is become: "Please configure an Account"
but when I try to add a Gmail feed account, following the step to login on google, appear this page/screen:

Thanks for the plasmoid, seems to be working fine so far. I'm missing an option to mark all mails as read, as well as marking individual mails as read without having to open inbox. Any chance of adding this?
