-Ecommerce Website Bewakoof is Casual Wear and Lifestyle Brand and E-commerce platform. The Bewkoof was founded as the Trendy and witty T-Shirt Brand by two IIT Bombay Ex-students. In 2012, Bewkoof launched as an E-commerce platform for the youth and its portfolio includes trendy fashion apparel for men and women.

Installing and Running

To run this application on your local system

  • Clone the Repository
  • Authorise
  • Use the application

Features

  • There is login and logout functionality.
  • Elegant navbar for easy navigation between pages and categories.
  • Product Pages where all the products are displayed using Api.
  • Single Product Page on clicking Each Product carrying description of that product.
  • Cart with Crud Operations.
  • Payment Pages.
  • Footer for navigating to different social Media Pages.

Steps to navigate the website:

  • On opening the application the user is taken to the landing Page which have a Navbar to navigate to different Section of the application.
  • On the Landing Page Navbar, user can click on Website Logo in Navbar to navigate to categories where all the categories of the products available are displayed.
  • There are three categories available Mens/Womens/Mobile.
  • Product Pages containing all the Products available with options of sort and filter according to users requirements.
  • Single Product Page to view the description of each and every Product.
  • Cart Page with of add/delete the product.
  • Payment Pages with form validation.

    • Pros

      • UI looks descent
      • many number of components are present.
      • Functionality wise , it is rich in functionalities.
      • wireframing looks good.
      • Redux arch is used correctly.

    • Cons

      • Localization is not done correctly
      • No client side data validation
      • Some links are broken .
      • Not much comments are present in code.
      • Able to login without account creation

  • Overall Comments

    • Little more focus on back end could have been great .
    • some of the components from UI could have been reduced and that much effort could have been given to back end side development .
    • coding standard , functionality all are maintained at a good quality .
    • use of git is done very good , design patterns are good .
    • no of components could've been reduced and those efforts could've been utilized on making the components working .
    • Next time focus on workable features rather than more no of features .
    • Don't keep any commented code.
