hi, I tried to build the provided source code and put in my device. I experienced that some phone the rectangle box did not appear to recognize plate number. some device the rectangle box will keep blinking. It is related with device compatibility or problem when i import to my android studio. If import issue please guide me. Thanks.

I tried to compile and run on my device but it stopped just after launch. I think that the problem came from the initialization of OpenCV.

On my Sammy S5 application will print Found a Plate !!! then START DoOCR task!!!!. after seeing something like a plate. however, the app will crash regardless of seeing a plate or not relatively 5 seconds after launch.

On my Sammy S8 the app will crash almost immediately on startup.

potential memory error? Please help! Thanks :)

Is there a way to train the neural network to recognize different EU plates? Particularly the Bulgarian ones?
They thus take the form X(X) NNNN YY, where X is the province code, and Y is the series.

I have downloaded new version of "UIT-ANPR" which is "uitanpr2" and while looking at the code i came across your comment that this version is yet to implement Neural recognition of characters, Have you tested it? What are all the new plates it could recognize? Please do share your comment
