itunes-bridge's Issues

iTunes-bridge not detecting song

I'm using Apple Music on my Macbook. I'm trying to detect the song that it's playing. I'm using the example code from the README.md. Even when I'm playing a song, it will log: "iTunes is not playing at the moment.
iTunes is not longer playing!" The emitter also doesn't seem to work.

dont detect apple music

Example throw and error on ituneEmitter.on() and currentTrack always return not playing even when playing

Song details becomes '?' when the song name is not English

Hi, first of all, thank you for making this such a good package for us :)

Problem: Not able to show non-ASCII characters

Details: The song name in the attached image is originally call '早送りカレンダー ' in Japanese, but the console output ???????? and my application also show this.

How can I solve this problem or this is a bug?

Electron version: v8.3.0
Nodejs version: v12.18.3
npm version: 6.14.6

M1 Mac Support

I recently got an M1 MacBook Pro and this seems to not work with Arm64 for some reason?

Getting the track info does not work but detecting that iTunes (Music) is open, does in-fact work. No idea why this might be. Events also do not work, probably due to it not detecting the current track correctly.

If you need help implementing a fix or someone to test a fix, let me know.

Action required: Greenkeeper could not be activated 🚨

🚨 You need to enable Continuous Integration on all branches of this repository. 🚨

To enable Greenkeeper, you need to make sure that a commit status is reported on all branches. This is required by Greenkeeper because it uses your CI build statuses to figure out when to notify you about breaking changes.

Since we didn’t receive a CI status on the greenkeeper/initial branch, it’s possible that you don’t have CI set up yet. We recommend using Travis CI, but Greenkeeper will work with every other CI service as well.

If you have already set up a CI for this repository, you might need to check how it’s configured. Make sure it is set to run on all new branches. If you don’t want it to run on absolutely every branch, you can whitelist branches starting with greenkeeper/.

Once you have installed and configured CI on this repository correctly, you’ll need to re-trigger Greenkeeper’s initial pull request. To do this, please delete the greenkeeper/initial branch in this repository, and then remove and re-add this repository to the Greenkeeper App’s white list on Github. You'll find this list on your repo or organization’s settings page, under Installed GitHub Apps.
