SETUP

  • clone the project 
    git clone https://github.com/AndyOsei/react-native-meetio
  • install dependencies and run app 
    yarn install
expo start
  • Choose any of the options to either run on Android / IOS

It can't run

Separate StyleSheet from the Actual Screen File

Hi Andy 😃

I've found out you integrate your Stylesheet.create({...}); directly into your Screen.tsx file.

By implementing app (especially when Redux comes in or translations), i've found it quite useful to separate my concerns inside my screens file such as doing :

   -- Welcome Folder
     |
     |-> index.js                     <--   import Welcome from Welcome.tsx, connect it to redux, and export by default
     |-> Welcome.tsx                  <--   Do your stuff and import your Style from style.js
     |-> style.js                     <--   Separate style

What do you think ? It could be more scalable in the future IMO.
I'd like to have opinion about this from other react-native developers :)

This looks great! Would it be possible to add tab navigation for iOS and drawer navigation for Android in future releases?
