This issue is to make Mac equivalents of the card generation scripts found in society/scripts. It would be best if the Python scripts were written to check the operating system so that they could then be ran universally.
The current font used in Society is Tsukushi A Round Gothic, which needs to be replaced with a free font so that all contributors can access it. Currently Nunito is available in Society/resources. A final decision on the default font for Society should be made, and all files should then be changed to reflect this.
The cards for Society should be updated to also add a field that would dictate which institutions would need to be in play for the card to be used. Some cards in Society are only used if institutions such as hospitals or precincts are in play. Cards should thus be annotated with the institutions they require and final images should be marked with the symbols for each in the lower left corner as shown in the directory readme.
Steps include:
.svg files for cards with each institutional resource combination should be made and added to templates so that they can be used in generation
Which cards are only applicable given certain institutions should also be added to the .txt files action_cards.txt and event_cards.txt
The Python generation scripts should be updated to access the information added in the previous two steps
ImgBot used to compress the images for this repository, but has recently been removed. This issue is to replace the previously compressed images in society/components.
Currently the Society components found in society_designs.sketch are exported on a per page basis. It would be best if elements like bills, tokens and cards were exported individually. This issue is to create individual exports within Sketch along with a proper naming criteria for the generated components.
I understand Sketch is convenient for authorship but exported files can be useful for people not using that service. Any chance to add exported versions in PDF or SVG?
