cs230-fer's Issues

Using different datasets

I am quite new to ML coding and wanted to test your model on different datasets. Is there any guidance you can give for what I should be changing in the model/code?

Difficulty Accessing Datasets

I am encountering difficulties while attempting to access the actual datasets required to build the Facial Emotion Recognition (FER) system as specified in the repository. The absence of these datasets is hindering my progress in implementing the FER system.

  1. Missing Datasets: The repository documentation or instructions state that specific datasets are needed to train the FER system. However, I cannot locate these datasets within the repository or any provided download links.

  2. Lack of Dataset Information:The repository lacks clear information on where to find, download, or access the required datasets. This makes it challenging to proceed with the project.

  3. Impediment to Building the FER System: Due to the unavailability of these datasets, I am unable to train the model and continue building the FER system as intended.

I kindly request assistance in resolving this issue by providing clear instructions or links to the actual datasets required for building the FER system. This will enable me to proceed with the project as intended.

Complex Datagen

Dear Authors,
Any particular reason for converting pixels to .png file? I think it made data preprocessing bit complex.

Thanks

Facing Error while running the code

Hii team,
I'm facing the below error while running the model. Could you please help me in resolving this error?

Facing Error on below line:
vgg_notop = VGGFace(model='resnet50', include_top=False, input_shape=(Resize_pixelsize, Resize_pixelsize, 3), pooling='avg')

The error is:

Would be great if you can help me.
Thanks.
