Add lazy loading and optimize images

Every time a show /event is added through the /admin console, we should send an email to [email protected] with a calendar invite, that way we can keep our website shows up to date with our google calendar.

Background info:

• Our Content Management System (CMS) is Netlify which allows us to add events through roosterridgeoffocial.com/admin. Every time an event is added our website is rebuilt and re-deployed to the server, this time with a new .md event file. When the website is built we execute a file called mdToJson.js which converts the .md files to json format to be rendered by our website code. We could do something by creating a script called emailNewEvents.js which would look for new events and send email accordingly. This could be integrated into the file package.json similarly to how we use mdToJson.js file.

Potential implementation:

• Utilize current mdToJson.js file (or similar method) and if there is a new entry in the json file (a newly added event) trigger an email to send at website build time.
• Look into free options for sending email (we already use Netlify, maybe they have a free tier option for triggering emails)
• Ensure email feature is not accessible besides at build time

Make our lives Easier by creating easy way to post to social media.

Ie create potential chat GPT prompts to generate social media posts and event descriptions. Create a checklist for a posts approach for various social media platforms. Facebook event, Instagram reminder, Facebook reminder, YouTube reminder

Potential prompt example

Create social media post for the bluegrass band Rooster Ridge. They are playing at Cappy's

Eventually instead of generating prompts we could just include some example responses by leveraging chat GPT API and put a link to check GPT just in case they aren't very good.

All of this should hook into our existing event automation
