The progress bar doesn't currently account for terminal width. Additionally, the carriage returns aren't properly clearing the line in gnome-terminal - this is especially noticeable on larger files.

When I try to upload a directory as .tar.gz using transfersh -r -tg directory/, I get

FileNotFoundError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/tmp/transfersh-upload.tar.gz'

-r -t works as expected.

I'm using version 1.4.1 from the AUR package.

Also, the example in the README is -rtg, but that doesn't work, it has to be -r -tg, else I get this error:

usage: transfersh [-h] [-v] [-p] [-n NAME] [-r] [-tg] [-t] [-vt] [-sn SERVERNAME] [-d] file
transfersh: error: argument -t/--tar: ignored explicit argument 'g'

Please add a "loading bar" to be enabled by default so you know how much time is left till the upload is complete

very useful package!
But if I try to upload a file given its Path (if I'm not in the file's folder) it fails. :(
