wx2pfpx does not download any data. I guess this has to do with the API change lately?!

Hi! Your script is great. But can you make some improvements and add support for Active Sky 6.5?
It would be great to see possibility of automatic periodical downloads for TAF and METAR from IVAO or VATSIM servers and data exporting to the main folder of Active Sky.
Is it possible?

Hi, and thanks for this tool! Looks very promising!
Probably you already know, but downloaded winds are inaccurate compared to the latest NOAA forecast😊
And far from the nearest airport very, very unrealistic. I found a hard boundary between 090/70 and 000/05 wind. Do you think there’s really no way to use a geo grid instead of airports for data collection? This would exponentially increase accuracy.

Thanks a lot for your program) Its really useful for my flight planning. Nevertheless, I have a problem with weather data. Once I wanted to plan my flight. (Of course I launched the wx2pfpx program and updated data but in the PFPX the data was outdated) How can I fix this? Ive also attached some screenshots. (The screenshot was taken on the 30th of October)

As of 16OCT23 aviationweather.gov implemented API changes. As a result wx2pfpx cannot download METAR/TAF data anymore. It gets gets stucks on "downloading last weather reports"

Would it be possible for you to update the application?

PFPX is also no longer downloading METAR/TAF. It is unclear at this time if they will update their application :(

after pressing download in your tool, it says all downloaded data has been successfull.

however, when i load the data into PFPX, the metars are way outdated. as of december 12 (today) i'm getting metars from the 5th of december.

any ideas?
