can you please create new tags for AliDPG on both the v5-09-XX and v5-08-XX branches.
This is to have new configurations for upcoming productions with injected nuclei and MC-to-MC embedding and two fixes for the merging of the output of AOD QA trains for both raw data and MC.

We will need a new tag from v5-09-XX. I am currently waiting that Andreas confirms that the change in the default physics list for G4 is ok, then I will trigger you about it.

Here the changes wrt to the latest tag (the last one was committed tonight - comment edited):

• Add method to check TObjArrays, needed for TRD QA output
• Adapt the QED electrons min radius to low field
• Use Nystrom stepper instead of default one for G4
• Added run number for CDB connect, needed by PCM task
• Starlight configuration updated to increase the MC efficiency for the gamma-gamma process in the jpsi mass range
• Change phyics list to FTFP_INCLXX_EMV
• Macros for production of HIJING with embedded PYTHIA HF-enriched signals
• disable PWGHFvertexing in muon_calo passes

• Therminator2 in AliDPG
• D2H pp production with high mult cut
• Generator for Lnn dedicate MC prod
• optional: use fraction of TrackRefs to be kept

These will allow us to have these features:

• Protection for trigger simulation in runs without TOF
• Increase fraction of ESD friends in CPass1 (only in v5-09-XX)
• Updates in generators for resonances
• Flag to impose the fAfterV0 bug
• Rho with continuum in starlight
  which are needed for upcoming MC productions.

This is needed for the processing of the forthcoming pp reference run and to be able to run the new performance generator in upcoming MC tests.
Here is a list of updates and fixes to keep track of the changes w.r.t. previous tag

As reported by @catalinristea, all AliDPG versions containing #134 are missing, in some cases, the proper TGrid::Connect() where required.

This affects all versions from v5-09-XX-46 (included) on.

As a result, some Grid jobs are still running with older AliDPG versions.

@catalinristea: would you be able to provide us with more details (type of job: MC or Reco? logs of failing jobs?) in order for us to fix it?

We would like to have a new AliDPG tag to be used for:

• new refiltering of Pb-Pb MCs (AOD188) with some modifications in the gamma conversion AODs
• tests for the Xe-Xe simulation and reconstruction
  The new features with respect to previous tag are:
• Xe-Xe case added in reconstruction scripts and QA and AOD macros
• Xe-Xe case added in the MC configuration macros and scripts
• more robust treatment of the collision system in the delta AOD (HF and GA) creation
• fix for PID response configuration in AOD creation for MCs
