There is currently no code that downloads the results. It is easy enough to add it, but it doesn't exist.

There two main reasons:
(1) For the AliceVision pipeline, we need the matching at a different stage of the pipeline. We have so far no application for the integration of matching into the extraction stage.
(2) The implementation uses brute-force matching. That is wasteful, someone should implement a good heuristic. Right now, there are CPU matchers using heuristics that have the same speed, without losing a lot of accuracy.

The easiest way I can imagine iw to change the allocation functions in features.cpp, both for the matching table and for the GPU memory allocated in FeaturesDev. Using cudaMallocManaged instead of cudaMalloc would allow you to read that data on the CPU side after matching.

Any kind of contribution would be very welcome !!!
