Issue description: the curve of the italic f has a jagged stair shaped contour. The issue goes away at supermassive font sizes.

Environments tested on: (1) Latest Edge Browser on Samsung Galaxy A03 Core Android 11. (2) Gnome Web Browser (webkit) on Fedora Linux release version 37.

Curve error in Aleo-ExtraLight and Aleo-Light in character ʋ

A user wrote to Google Fonts:

sombody should let the author of the Aleo font know that his "eth" symbol in the Regular style has a mistake. Keep on the good work.

However, no other information, nor contact info, was supplied, and it looks fine to me on latest MacOS/Chrome on fonts.google.com:

Not sure what the issue might be, but filing this so if/when the font is next updated, you can take a look :)

I'd love to see a variable fonts version of this, with a weight axis. At Google Fonts, I've commissioned the folks at @TypeNetwork to work on upgrading a number of font projects to be variable fonts with a weight axis, and this would be a great candidate! Would you accept a pull request with this change done for you in the next week or so? :)
