In the stable version, when I try to launch the game from dolphin I get the melee crowd gasp and then a black screen. The frames are counting in the top right but I'm only getting 1 frame. In the experimental build the same thing happens without the crowd gasp audio.

Hello, i have an issue, when i slide my iso vanilla melee in the file it just doesnt work... but it doesnt say xdelta3... it says xdelta is not recognized as a valid command... I used a 100% vanilla melee iso file. Whats weird is that my iso worked to build the stable version of the akaneia build but just won't work for the experimental one

My friend is playing on Village past 12:00 AM in his timezone. K.K. Slider is present, but none of the tracks listed in the release notes are playing. Do we have to wait until Saturday evening, or is there a bug there? Thanks!

For everything that makes this mod a miracle, I've noticed that several default Melee stages have partially broken backgrounds, particularly any stages with blue skies. I've noticed this in Rainbow Cruise, Onett, and Mushroom Kingdom II, but there are probably more. Has this already been addressed? Because I'd hate to sound like a broken record.

The custom stages and extra skins are all there and volleyball works but wolf is missing from the character select screen, plz help

fwiw I'm playing on Dolphin using Steam Deck

I tried making a build with the stable build on windows and it seemed to work but when I started it there was no wolf or volleyball and it appeared to be vanilla slippi. I made a build with the experimental builder and I now have wolf in the css but still no volleyball. Where "Games" should be in the menu is still Tournament Melee and when I select it it freezes on the screen shown below. I did this with vanilla 1.02 melee and have rebuilt several times I really have no idea what's causing this so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I open multipatch. The first field is patchx.delta. THe seonc is my melee rom. I got it as Super Smash Bros. Melee (USA) (En,Ja) (Rev 2).nkit.iso. and the third field is my location. I press apply patch and it tells me this

Maybe I'm missing a trick. How can I play sheik in doubles other than transforming in game? Seems like it's a bug for it to default you to zelda every time - the normal slippi doesn't.

I was playing on Hyrule Temple, Falco Vs. Pichu, and a tornado that spawns on the slightly sloped part of the level on the left side, started traveling left and then went completely off the screen. I have a video of it happening if you wanted me to send it. Let me know!

There might be other series emblem issues on the HUD, but I only just now remembered to report this bug after I played Classic about a week ago and it stuck in my mind.

After building the ISO, the text reads The file is loacted in the folder. Enjoy! with a typo in the word "located"

Title. If you walk sheik into the invisible wall in front of the net and use chain at it, dolphin crashes with an invalid write. The memory values seem consistent, so I figure posting them is unnecessary.

For some reason I have everything (Wolf, new stages, new skins) but Volleyball on my ISO. When I go to the VS. Mode section, there isn't a "Games" tab and I don't know why

I didn't realize the bat file required lookups to the parent directory in order to function. I moved all the files inside 'Windows' to my directory with my melee ISO before trying to create the new ISO. I got the error message about not finding patch.xdelta, but I also got the successful creation string telling me the new ISO had been made and could be found, even though it failed.

When playing doubles volleyball, the team that fouls/exploding the ball gains a point instead of the opposing team. Does not occur in singles though.

I have to disable cheats in order to use the build and get past the black screen at launch. This causes my vanilla melee and the build to have no matchmaking.

When you do a Side-B with sheik on the voleyball net, the game crashes with an error like ''invalid read'' or whatever. It's not even to complain I just find it funny.

On Slippi using Direct Connect occasionally after a match the person who lost will be unable to select a stage and thus when the next match tries to start both players will be stuck on the loading screen.

Lucas' CP does not recover properly. He uses PK Thunder, but he aims the bolt right to the stage rather than himself.

I've noticed that all Trophies had been unlocked for this game but kind of wanted to delete them for replayability's sake and also giving bit more gameplay incentive to unlock the new trophies added into the game. However, despite trying to delete trophy data on Options, it seems to have no effect.

Is this intentional right now?

No matter what dolphin is used or rom, the warning "The Disc could not be read (at 0x3bddf000 - 0x3bdee260). pops up when launching the ISO.

I'm just curious since I want to make a shadow mod off of sonic, but I can't access sonic's data in crazy hand no matter what I do.

The ISO creator throws two errors as shown in the screenshot below. I didn't put this inside of my slippi folder, but the instructions didn't say to. The ISO creator is extracted and the SSBM ISO is called "Vanilla SSBM.ISO". Could potentially be a Windows 7 Compatability issue? If it is that's fine, I just figured I'd bring it up.

I have played a few games with the mod and it seems fully functional, but I do not have wolf available on the CSS. I just pulled the files about 10 minutes before making this post.

Hello, I just updated my slippi and now when I attempt to start up the experimental build, it just black screens. I tried turning off cheats in config but then it makes it so I am unable to play online unranked. does anyone have a solution for this?

To play volleyball you have to queue direct and select the stage, as the "Tournament Melee" button is not replaced.

Hello, I've downloaded the new 0.9 build and I'm getting this error thrown every frame whenever I start a custom game mode, tested with Volleyball, All Star Versus, Tag, and Turbo Melee. We are using two players. Not sure if they aren't implemented yet for this update.
I'm running this on a Windows 10, with Nvidia RTX 3060 using Slippi Irushiika (Gecko Codes for slippi disabled)
