Problem with <?php post_class(); ?>

Thanks for great works.
I found a problem below.

jade:
article(id!="post-" class!="")

php:

browser:

There is class=" class="" ".
Beause post_class() method generates code wraped by class="".

archive.jade

When I compile archive.jade I am ending up with the following, which is crashing because it seems php expects to everything within one section. Are you not experiencing the same issue?

I think I have the latest version of php on an ubuntu 14.10 machine
